Cookies & Local Storage
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Effective October 17, 2026. The current homepage does not store language cookies or local preferences; games and existing account APIs use the storage described below.
Session cookie
The __session cookie (td_session in local compatibility mode) is used by account APIs for sessions and request protection. An anonymous session lasts up to 30 minutes and an authenticated session lasts up to 7 days under the default configuration. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, with Secure enabled over HTTPS. Visiting the portal alone does not require signing in.
Account updates
A timestamp-and-random-value tdp-account-change-v1 localStorage marker and browser messages notify other tabs to recheck the server session. They contain no account identifier, token, or game record.
Language preference
The portal detects supported languages from browser preferences. A manual choice travels in the URL as ?lang= and is not stored in a cookie or local storage.
Game storage
DUSKFALL uses localStorage keys duskfall.stage-controls.v1 and duskfall.stage-audio.v1 for automatic attack and audio preferences. Game progress uses game-specific local keys and account-specific local copies. Selected existing records can be linked to your account; successfully synchronized progress can be resumed on another device. Unsynchronized offline changes remain local. Clearing site data can remove local originals and pending changes.
External services and tracking
No advertising or analytics tracker has been added to the current portal. Optional Google sign-in and GitHub Sponsors pages may use storage under their own providers’ policies. An external sponsorship page is opened only when you follow its link.
Managing storage
Your browser settings let you inspect, block, or remove site cookies and local storage. Removing them can reset game preferences, remove local records, or end a session. Blocking essential cookies can prevent account functions from working. Questions: wonyoungchoiseoul@gmail.com.
